The Ultrasonographer performs diagnostic sonographic examinations using various ultrasonic modes to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data. This role also involves maintaining and calibrating equipment, recording test results, and updating patient records for referring physicians.
Candidates must have completed post-high school vocational/specialized training and an Ultrasound program. Required licensure includes a current BLS certification.
Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques, to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data. The Ultrasonographer maintains and calibrates equipment, records tests results, and updates patient records for referring physicians.
