The Peer Specialist will provide direct support services to participants and assist them in connecting with program services. They will also educate clients about available community resources and promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and lived experience with homelessness, mental illness, substance use, or living with HIV/AIDS. A valid New York State driver's license is preferred, and strong communication skills are required.

Our Crisis Residence provides a safe, supportive environment designed to help individuals stabilize psychiatric symptoms while offering person-centered, trauma-informed services. This short-term program allows participants to stay for up to 28 days as they prepare to transition back into the community.
