Speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. They develop or implement treatment plans for various communication and swallowing issues.
A Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology/Communicative Disorders and Sciences is required. Preferred qualifications include prior hospital or healthcare-related experience and a valid license in the state of Missouri.
