The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for assessing clients in an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment program and administering medication according to established policies and procedures. This role involves direct collaboration with clinical and medical staff to ensure coordinated nursing components and performing necessary clerical functions.
Minimum requirements include a current and unrestricted LVN license from the Texas Board of Nursing and at least one year of staff nurse experience, preferably in chemical dependency or behavioral health. Candidates must also possess current Basic Life Support and Handle with Care Physical Holding Certifications.
