The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) collaborates under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to implement patient care plans within the Pulmonary Unit. This role involves providing essential physical, emotional, and spiritual support to enhance patient and family well-being.
Candidates must possess a valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and current AHA BLS certification, along with the ability to administer medications. A minimum of a diploma-level education is required, and IV Certification is preferred.
External Qualifications Needed A valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Current AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) certification. Certified to administer medications. A minimum of a diploma-level education. IV Certification, preferred Key Skills: Strong organizational skills. The ability to multitask effectively, even with frequent interruptions, while maintaining a pleasant demeanor. Practical interpersonal and communication skills. Basic computer knowledge.
