Geriatric nursing assistants will assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing while ensuring clean and safe nursing services. They will also provide dementia care and nutritional support, reporting any changes in the client's condition to the nurse on duty.
Candidates must have a valid home geriatric nursing assistant license in Maryland and CPR certification. Additionally, two years of experience as a certified nursing assistant and a recent tuberculosis screening are required.
Geriatric nursing assistant (Gna)
SmithLife Homecare is looking for geriatric nursing assistants that have a license in the state of Maryland. Shifts come to us as needed from the facilities that we are contracted with, and caregivers can choose when they work based on their availability. All geriatric nursing assistants are expected to work on the floor of these facilities while assisting many different clients. Caregivers are expected to be motivated and hard-working.
