The PRN OR Registered Nurse is responsible for all nursing activities related to caring for patients undergoing an operative or other invasive procedure. This role involves caring for a wide range of adult and pediatric patients across various surgical specialties.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and possess a minimum of two years of previous Operating Room experience. Current Maryland RN licensure along with current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.

The PRN OR Registered Nurse at Surgical Specialty Center of Mid-Atlantic is responsible for the nursing activities related to the care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including older adults through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence. Our scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery.
