The role involves accurately and efficiently performing pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes for laboratory testing, including maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and evaluating quality control assessments before reporting patient results. Responsibilities also include collaborating with supervisors to ensure regulatory compliance, training students and new team members, and assessing team member competency.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology, or an equivalent combination of degrees and certification, to perform high complexity testing. A minimum of two years of experience in a highly complex laboratory setting is strongly preferred, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
