The role involves providing occupational therapy services to treat physical and psychological dysfunctions through direct patient care using various therapeutic activities. Responsibilities also include appropriately supervising occupational therapy assistants, support personnel, and students, and participating in related departmental activities.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in occupational therapy (or equivalent if foreign trained) and hold a current license in the State of Indiana, along with Basic Life Support certification. Six months of acute care experience is preferred, though new graduates with acute care fieldwork experience will be considered.

Appropriately supervises occupational therapy assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
