The Qualified Medication Aide will make a difference by providing compassionate care to patients and acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees. Responsibilities include setting up, administering, and recording prescribed medications under nurse supervision, and keeping the nurse informed of resident conditions.
Candidates must demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values and successfully complete a state-approved training program in medication administration. Required credentials include current CPR Certification and current active QMA Certification, along with completing an annual medication evaluation.
