This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a revitalized campus and expanding specialty service line, focused on delivering high-quality musculoskeletal and spine care to the community.
Reporting to department leadership and working under the supervision of a Physiatrist, the PA will play a key role in both direct patient care and program development, helping to build and shape PM&R services at BMC Brighton.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care in outpatient clinic and inpatient consult settings Perform history and physical exams, develop diagnoses, and implement treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic studies including imaging, labs, EMG, and nerve conduction studies (NCS) Perform musculoskeletal (MSK) injections, including ultrasound-guided procedures Assist with specialized procedures (e.g., Botox, spine-related interventions) Conduct inpatient consultations, rounding, and discharge planning Collaborate with physicians on spine triage and care pathways Manage longitudinal care for complex rehabilitation and spine patients Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations Complete timely documentation, orders, and prescribing (DEA required) Perform peer-to-peer insurance reviews to support timely care delivery Coordinate care across departments to ensure efficient, patient-centered outcomes Support referring provider outreach and service line growth initiatives Track clinical outcomes and contribute to quality improvement efforts Why Join BMC Brighton?
