The Advanced Practice Provider performs clinical patient care services under physician supervision, including data gathering, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and managing stable and chronic illnesses. Essential duties involve patient evaluation, ordering and interpreting tests, documenting findings, recommending interventions, and providing patient education and counseling.
Candidates must possess either a Master's degree in nursing with NP certification or a Master's degree as a Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification, along with D.C. licensure for the respective role. Previous experience in the field is preferred.
To perform, under the responsibility and supervision of physicians, clinical patient care service defined as data gathering, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, management of stable and chronic illnesses; and counseling. The Advanced Practice Provider will be credentialed according to the medical staff regulations.
