The Nurse Anesthetist collaborates with a physician to develop anesthesia care plans and administers various types of anesthesia during procedures. They also monitor patients and manage their physiological conditions while under anesthesia.
Candidates must have a Master's degree in nurse anesthesia and relevant certifications such as CRNA and ACLS. They should also possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to perform both basic and advanced anesthesia techniques.
(25%) *�Perform pre?anesthetic evaluation and preparation. � (25%) *�Prepares the OR Suite for all types of anesthesia. � (25%) *�Administers, manages, and monitors anesthesia care during induction, maintenance, and emergence. � (25%) *�Provide post?anesthesia care and evaluation. � OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Takes appropriate safety precautions to insure the safe administration of his/her anesthesia care. � Identifies opportunities for improving quality, including patient outcomes and operational efficiency within the Department. � Provide clinical support to other departments within the Medical Center. � Other duties as assigned.
