The RN in the Emergency Department provides patient care using the nursing process and leads the nursing team. They are accountable for quality patient outcomes and must adapt their approach to meet the diverse needs of patients.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and hold a current RN license. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in nursing and certifications in specialty areas.
