The Clinical Nurse II will provide direct and indirect patient care, including triage, wound checks, and injectable teaching within a dermatology clinic. The role also involves acting as a team lead, coordinating appointments, and managing virtual care through patient messaging.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma, with a BSN required within seven years of hire. A minimum of twelve months of clinical experience, current North Carolina RN licensure, and BLS certification are required.

Clinical Nurse II- Duke Dermatology South Durham JOB LOCATION Duke Dermatology South Durham 234 Crooked Creek Pkwy, Durham, NC JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a CLINICAL NURSE II in our Dermatology Clinic located in South Durham to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients. The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work requires graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the BSN program within seven years of their start date
Registered nurses hired between July 1, 2014 and April 11, 2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the program within seven years of their start date. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 2014 are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job classification.
