The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves operating specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver accurate results.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree and be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Required certifications include BCLS, ARRT-R, and a current Ohio Department of Health license.
Weekend/Holiday rotation required for full and part-time positions. Will consider new graduates.
Education Associate's Degree Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required) or Other Accredited Program: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required) Work Experience 1+ years as CT technologist (Preferred) or 1+ years as a registered technologist (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including CT scanners, power injectors, and various computers. (Required proficiency) Use EMR and Radiology RIS systems to send and obtain patient information for care. (Required proficiency) Ability to perform procedures specific to area. (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) (Required Upon Hire) and Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) and current Ohio Department of Health license. (Required Upon Hire) within one year of eligibility to sit for exam (Required within 1 Year) current Ohio Department of Health license.
