The EMDR Therapist will provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities to support clients in an outpatient setting. They are also responsible for completing clinical documentation, intake assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to update treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field. Completion of a clinically focused internship or practicum is required, with preference given to those with EMDR training and experience in structured outpatient behavioral health programs.
Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing EMDR and other evidence-based approaches when clinically appropriate Maintain an individual outpatient caseload focused on trauma-informed treatment Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, and recovery-oriented topics Complete intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and level-of-care recommendations as needed Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on client progress and clinical needs Collaborate with referral sources, families (when appropriate), and internal clinical staff to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with program and regulatory standards Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development
Required Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field Completion of a clinically focused internship or practicum Experience providing individual therapy in a behavioral health setting Preferred EMDR training or certification preferred Experience working with trauma-related disorders Experience working in PHP, IOP, or other structured outpatient behavioral health programs Why Join High Focus Centers?
