• The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of respiratory care.
• The RRT is responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education, and communication for all patient populations served.
• The RRT will coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote a great patient experience.
• The RRT is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Ohio Respiratory Care Laws, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional and system policies.
• Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree Additional requirements: Type of degree: Applied Science or Equivalent Area of study or major: Respiratory Care or NBRC approved registry requirements Preferred educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Licensure/Certification/Registration Valid Ohio Respiratory Care License, Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential through NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care), BLS, ACLS within 90 days.
• Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
