Clinical Nurse II- Cardiology Triage

Job Eligibility Requirements

Work requires graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the BSN program within seven years of their start date.

Exception

Registered nurses hired between July 1, 2014 and April 11, 2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the program within seven years of their start date. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 2014 are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job classification.

• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.
• BLS required.
• Cardiology experience preferred Must be present on site for 8 hour shifts during standard business hours.
• Experience in Triage preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull 250 lbs.
• Must be able to carry 25 lbs.
• Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire dateJob Hours:The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
