The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for administering radioactive medication and operating imaging technology to track radiation within a patient's body. They must also perform high-quality diagnostic procedures while ensuring the safety of patients and staff through strict adherence to radiation regulations.
Candidates must have experience in a hospital setting and possess knowledge of state and federal radiation regulations. Experience working with geriatric and cardiac patients is preferred, and the role requires a level II background screening.
