The Speech Language Pathologist will perform evaluations and provide treatment for pediatric patients with various diagnoses. They will also provide extensive education to families and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a valid license from the Florida Department of Health. A Certificate of Clinical Competence and active BLS certification are also required, with at least one year of outpatient pediatric experience strongly preferred.
Evaluation and treatment of patients with all diagnoses. Provide extensive patient/family education. Provide multidisciplinary team care with other Rehab. professionals, nursing, physicians, social services, respiratory, support staff, etc. Work in a fast-paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation skills in the EMR, self-directed, and effective communication skills.
