- FUNCTIONS: Completes diagnostic assessments that may include and not be limited to SUD Assessment and/or supplemental assessments to determine treatment needs. Provides substance use treatment appropriate to the situation, including: individual, family, and group modalities. Implements medically necessary treatment services, ASAM criteria, and clinical determination of Level Of Care (LOC), and any other referrals for substance use treatment clients. Articulates all service provisions through timely and quality record documentation record documentation to include and not limited to progress notes, treatment plan reviews, third-party collaboration and coordination of treatment with other substance use treatment providers. Completes related activities as assigned by the department head or direct supervisor. Make referrals to other services as medically necessary.

- REQUIRED: Knowledge of various theoretical treatments and practice applications for substance use treatment. Knowledge and practice derived from direct service provision.

- REQUIRED: Experience managing treatment plans and treatment teams, including collaborating and managing client treatment with other providers. Specialized treatment including SFBT, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and other evidence based treatments. Know state regulations as required.
