The Medical Assistant screens patients, obtains pertinent information, and assists physicians or advanced practitioners during patient visits. They also maintain exam rooms and provide general support to the clinic environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and at least one year of clinical or physician-office experience is preferred.
