The LPN integrates technical skills and theoretical knowledge to provide age-specific care and comfort to pediatric patients. They are responsible for administering medications, documenting care, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to support patient wellness.
Candidates must be graduates of a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing and hold a current LPN license in Virginia. AHA BLS certification is required, and previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
