The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care, including physical exams, diagnostic testing, and minor surgical procedures under physician supervision. They also manage patient care plans, document medical histories, and provide education to patients and families.
Candidates must have at least one year of pediatric experience and hold a current, unrestricted North Carolina license as a PA or NP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work effectively in a clinical team environment are required.

Summary of Position
The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), under the supervision of the Physician, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. Under a physician’s supervision, the PA/NP is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments (e.g., suturing, casting and minor surgery), monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients.
Graduation from an accredited program. Current State of North Carolina PA or NP licensure/certification required. Current DEA certificate required. Board Certification if applicable.
