The Social Worker coordinates services for homeless clients in a women's shelter, performing psychosocial assessments and facilitating linkages to community-based services. They provide crisis intervention and support for families dealing with substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health conditions.
Candidates must hold a Master's in Social Work or equivalent and possess a current LMSW or LMHC license. Expertise in strengths-based, family-centered practice and knowledge of child welfare regulations are required.
Current licensure ‐ LMSW or LMHC ( LIMITED PERMIT may be considered) Master’s in social work or equivalent Knowledge of emotional/behavioral health; mental health and diagnostic classification Strong expertise in strengths‐based, solution‐focused, and family‐centered practice. Knowledge of guidelines, policies and regulations relating to child welfare, safety, permanency and well‐being. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‐disciplinary team, to assist individuals of diverse ethnicities, backgrounds, ages, and sexual preferences.
