Resident service coordinator (Part-Time – 17.5 hours week)

As a Resident Service Coordinator, you will be the primary support system for senior tenants, providing individual case management and group programming. You will play a vital role in helping formerly unhoused tenants transition back into the community, ensuring they have the tools, benefits, and support networks needed to maintain permanent housing.

📝 what you’ll be doing

Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Residential Services, you will manage a caseload of senior tenants, focusing on housing stability, emotional well-being, and social integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical
• Assessment: Provide monthly in-home assessments to evaluate the social and emotional needs of tenants; monitor risks and update case plans accordingly.
• Housing
• Stability: Assist formerly unhoused tenants with community transitions; ensure all tenants maintain the subsidies and benefits required for permanent housing.

• Advocacy: Develop written case plans, screen for benefit eligibility, and provide advocacy to secure entitlements.
• Counseling &
• Guidance: Offer individual and family guidance to resolve personal or tenancy-related issues.
• Community
• Building: Facilitate tenant engagement through group meetings, recreational activities, and the development of informal support networks.
• Resource
• Coordination: Refer tenants to legal aid, primary care, mental health services, and volunteer opportunities.
