The Therapeutic Mentor provides one-on-one, strength-based support to youth under 21 to help them develop independent life skills and manage behavioral challenges. They coordinate with therapists and guardians to implement treatment plans and document all meetings and collateral contacts.
Candidates should have a high school diploma, associate degree, or a bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, or a related field. A valid Massachusetts driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle are required.

Our Therapeutic Mentors offer structured, one-on-one, strength-based support, modeling and training in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and relating appropriately to other youth or adults, all while doing fun activities in the community! Services can take place in parks, basketball courts, libraries, animal shelters, museums, malls and any other place/activity that may peak the youth’s interest. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge and/or pursue higher education in the field of mental health and social work.
