The intern conducts individual and group sessions and assists in the development of group content. They collaborate with case managers and coordinators to facilitate discharge planning and community support placement.
Candidates must be working toward a Clinical Master's degree and hold a Bachelor's in a social science field. Required skills include motivational interviewing, report writing, and proficiency in MS Office.
Description SCHEDULE: 16 hours/week

Location: 170 Morton St
The intern, working under the direction of the Stabilization leadership team. The intern conducts individual and group sessions and participates in the development of group content. They works closely with intake case manager and aftercare coordinator to assist in discharge planning and placement including the development of community supports. The Substance Abuse Clinician will assist in running groups in the program. The intern will receive supervision from the Clinical Supervisor, and will bring issues of clinical import or client interaction to the Clinical Supervisors attention.
