Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential substance use treatment facility while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include monitoring medication administration, documenting client behavior, and facilitating recovery-oriented activities.
A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug screens are required. Experience in behavioral health is preferred but not required as on-the-job training is provided.
Provide care and support to individuals while maintaining a structured, therapeutic and safe environment for clients Monitor and assist with self-administration of medication, ensuring compliance to policies and procedures Support and reinforce treatment goals, engaging clients in healthy routines and recovery-focused activities Observe and document client behavior, reporting concerns to clinical staff as needed Assist with coordination of care as needed Monitor program schedules and ensure clients are engaged in required programming Facilitate daily living skills groups and structured recovery oriented activities Assist clients in working through crisis situations Perform administrative office tasks Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver's License and Insurable driving record Reliable transportation Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment or related field is preferred, but not required (on-the-job training provided) Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality regulations Capable of strict adherence to policies and procedures Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect Competently communicates effectively verbally and in writing Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook and Teams Adept at learning and navigating electronic health record systems Ability to pass background checks and drug screen as required by federal and state regulations Community Health Alliance is a leader providing the highest industry standards for health and human services.
