Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status; interpret results from assessments and tests
• Administer therapies (nebulized meds, bronchodilators, chest physiotherapy) and adjust ventilator settings per protocol
• Manage ventilator care, including initiation, weaning, and related assessments in collaboration with the care team
• Perform airway clearance techniques and arterial blood gas sampling as indicated
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the electronic medical record; maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapy colleagues to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in New Hampshire
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy or demonstrated travel experience in a similar setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend; willingness to float to nearby facilities within the region if needed
• Current BLS certification; EMR experience preferred (Cerner experience is a plus)
• Compliance with submission requirements: up-to-date resume including required specialty experience, two recent references (charge/manager RN), and licenses verification
