The technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing hoods and preparing medications and labels for patients. They must also monitor and maintain drug inventory levels based on the Master Daily Schedule.
A high school diploma is required, while previous infusion pharmacy experience and a Certified Pharmacy Technician license are preferred. Candidates must be able to work independently in a high-stress, high-volume environment.
University Cancer & Blood Center is hiring a full time Infusion Pharmacy Technician for our Snellville and Covington Medical Oncology Clinics. Hours will vary based on location. Some travel to our satellite sites will be required. Job Duties include: Clean/sanitize hoods for daily mixing Prepare medications, premeds, and accompanying labels as necessary. Maintain drug inventory levels at 3 days or less, based on Master Daily Schedule and nurses schedule. Monitor inventory and make necessary adjustments. Restock supplies for mixing area.
