The Family Practice Physician provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care. They maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance programs and clinic meetings.
Candidates must hold a State of Alaska Medical License as an MD or DO and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine. They should also maintain active DEA registration and SEARHC medical staff privileges.
MD or DO with active/unrestricted Alaska medical license or ability to obtain license.
Two to Four years of rural practice experience. Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine. Unrestricted DEA.
No road connects Juneau it to the rest of Alaska or the continental United States. Every visitor arrives by air through Juneau International Airport (JNU) or by sea via the Alaska Marine Highway System ferry network.
