Job Quick Facts\n\n• Specialty: Hematology/Oncology\n• Job Type: Locum Tenens\n• Facility Location: Martin, KY\n• Service Setting: Outpatient \n• Reason For Coverage: Supplemental\n• Coverage Period: ASAP – 12 Months Preferred\n• Coverage Type:Clinical\n• Shifts needed to be filled: \n- Ongoing coverage\n- 3 days/week with - 1–2 weeks on/off possible)\n• Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM\n• Patient Demographics: Adult \n• Patient Volume: 15 PD\n• Tumor Board Participation\n• % of Practice: 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology\n• Physician in Practice: \n- 3 Physicians at Hazard - Solo Provider Coverage in Martin\n• Support Staff: \n- 1 APP Daily Oncology\n- Trained RNs\n- APP Support \n• Specialty Backup: Hazard Physician Team\n• Case Mix: \n- Hematology and Solid Tumor Cases;\n- High-Acuity Leukemia Cases Referred to Tertiary Centers\n• Procedures: Infusion Supervision, Oncology Follow-Ups, Supportive Care Visits\n• Trauma Level: Critical Access Facility\n• EMR: Meditech\n• Other Info:\n\nLocums providers participate in tumor board\nApproximately 20% new patients / 80% follow-ups\nAPPs assist with documentation and orders collaboratively\nStandard oncology infusion supervision model\nCommute bonus may be available; inquire with AM\n• Hospital Privileges available: Yes\n• Temporary Privileges available: Yes\n• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered\nRequirements:\n\n• BC \n• Active KY License or Willing to Obtain \n• Recent Patient Facing Experience Required
