The therapist provides initial and ongoing counseling sessions for patients enrolled in PTSD, depression, and anxiety studies. They are responsible for conducting assessments, maintaining client records, and adhering to safety and confidentiality protocols.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in counseling or social work and possess an active mental health counselor license (LMHC, LCSW, LPC). A minimum of 2 years of experience treating PTSD, depression, and anxiety is required.

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist is responsible for counseling sessions with patients enrolled in PTSD, Depression and/or Anxiety studies.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Meets with patients to provide initial and ongoing counseling sessions according to study protocols. May conducts initial and ongoing assessments. Maintains records of client meetings and progress. Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or similar and 2+ years’ experience in counseling with PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience with alternative therapies. An active, unrestrictive license as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LCSW, LPC, or similar) in the state of work is required. Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) proficiency is a plus. Required Skills: Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft applications, email, electronic health records, and web applications, and the ability to type proficiently (40+ wpm); Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Well-developed interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with co-workers, subjects, managers, and external customers. Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changes in workloads and priorities. Must be professional, respectful of others, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Must possess a high degree of integrity and dependability. Ability to work under minimal supervision, identify problems and implement solutions. Ability to handle highly sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner, and in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Full-time employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are benefits-eligible, with coverage starting on the first day of the month following date of hire.
