Riggs Community Health Center is currently seeking Adult-Gerontology Nurse, Family, Pediatric, or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. Interested candidates must be newly graduated (up to 18 months out of NP school).
Riggs Community Health Center's Rural Health Nurse Practitioner Residency Program and community partners affiliated with the Nurse Practitioner Residency Program are dedicated to the mission of improving access to quality, cost effective, comprehensive health care with respect and compassion to under-served community members. This residency program is designed for new nurse practitioners with a commitment to developing careers in the challenging setting of rural clinics or under-served healthcare clinics.
Riggs Community Health Center is a highly rated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with NCQA's Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition status. This 1 year paid residency position comes with first consideration of permanent employment at Riggs Community Health Center, or at one of the residency's community partner facilities, at the end of the residency year. We offer residents a competitive benefits package eligible day 1, including a competitive residency salary of $92,610.00, plus sign-on bonus, affordable Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA) Employer Contributions up to $700/year, 401(k) with match after three months, Life Insurance, Long & Short-Term Disability Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays.
This position is M-F; including one day off per week and one Saturday morning per month.
