Conduct organ and body scans while preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assist Radiologists and PAs with complex vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
Requires BLS certification and either a CCI cardiographic credential or ARRT radiography credential. Education requirements include a high school diploma with 2 years experience, an associate/technical degree, or 4 years of specific job experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately, along with preparing and administering contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines and monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted. Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
