Responsibilities
Determine appropriateness of examinations and contact physicians to clarify or modify orders when necessary
Prep patients for exams by communicating with care teams
Transfer patients on/off exam tables
Transport patients when necessary
Answer telephones in a timely manner
Communicates with professionalism at all times
For outpatients, check prescriptions to ensure patient demographics are correct, physician signature present, and reason for exam listed
For inpatients, check requisitions for accuracy, including verify patient identification, physician's signature, and diagnosis
Arrange transport in and out of the department
Update technologists with appointment status (cancellations, changes, etc).

Requirements

Salary Range
Usd $20.26 - Usd $28.36 /Hr.
