The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders through patient evaluations and advanced endoscopic procedures. The physician will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients to provide high-quality healthcare services.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with completed residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology. A valid Illinois medical license and board certification or eligibility are required.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, working collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality patient care. Your expertise will contribute to advancing our practice's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services while ensuring that we remain at the forefront of medical advancements in gastroenterology.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions Perform endoscopic procedures and other advanced interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care Stay updated on the latest developments in gastroenterology Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to continuing education and professional development Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Schedule: 4 or 5-day workweeks
No call requirement
New GI service line
Caseload: General and advanced GI, including EUS and ERCP
Must have experience
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
