Requirements summary
Requires an active New York State RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of experience in a SNF setting. Must be available for 5x8 evening shifts and every other weekend coverage.

Responsibilities
Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting per care plans and facility policies
Assess, document, and monitor patient status; administer medications and treatments as ordered; identify and respond to changes in condition
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; communicate with providers; update care plans and discharge planning as applicable
Perform routine clinical tasks (wound care, IV therapy within scope, catheter care, infection control) and ensure patient safety
Maintain accurate documentation in medical records, MAR, assessments, and shift handoffs; ensure timely reporting of concerns or adverse events
Demonstrate professional communication, patient advocacy, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements (BLS, NYS scope of practice)
