Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapist with assessment and treatment activities per plan of care.
• Implement individualized treatment interventions to improve activities of daily living, range of motion, motor skills, and functional mobility.
• Prepare equipment, position patients appropriately, and ensure safety and infection control during therapy sessions.
• Document patient responses, progress notes, and any changes to the plan; communicate with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning; relay progress to residents and team as directed.

Requirements

• Active COTA credential with Montana licensure or eligibility.
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting.
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
