The RN is responsible for admitting patients, developing patient-specific plans of care, and coordinating services with providers and other disciplines. They must ensure safe delivery of care, oversee LPNs and Home Health Aides, and maintain accurate OASIS documentation.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with a valid Connecticut license and a Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree, though a Bachelor's is preferred. Two years of nursing experience is preferred, along with the physical ability to perform heavy lifting and bending.
