The RN independently performs functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care and collaborates with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans. Responsibilities include overseeing patient care, providing education, and ensuring safety and effectiveness in care delivery.
A minimum of 1 year of pediatric hematology oncology experience is required, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Candidates must hold a current Texas nursing license and various certifications including Basic Life Support and PACES certification.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
