The specialist receives inquiry calls, triages individuals based on safety risk, and ensures qualified professionals assess patients presenting for evaluation. They perform comprehensive assessments for substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric disorders, coordinating care with the clinical team and interpreting treatment plans to patients and families.
Applicants must possess a current, unencumbered Ohio RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school, along with CPR certification and being at least 21 years old. Previous experience in a psychiatric facility, especially with chemical dependency or geriatric patients, is preferred.
