Position Summary

We are seeking dependable PRN Behavioral Health Technicians / Recovery Support Specialists to provide flexible coverage across all shifts within our residential detox behavioral health program serving adult clients with SUD and co-occurring disorders.

This role helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while supporting daily routines, recovery engagement, and client safety throughout the detox and residential treatment process.

• Key responsibilities
• Support admissions and orientation for adult residential detox clients
• Monitor safety and complete routine wellness checks in a behavioral health setting
• Document observations and interactions in EMR/shift logs
• Provide supportive interactions to individuals experiencing SUD withdrawal and co-occurring disorders
• Assist with groups, activities, and recovery programming (including 12-step support)
• Monitor medication line under nursing supervision
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation
• Maintain structure and expectations within the residential treatment milieu
• Transport clients to appointments or activities as needed
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, detox, SUD treatment, or recovery support

Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
