The LPN will conduct nursing assessments, administer medications, and monitor clients in a residential substance use treatment setting. They will also collaborate with the clinical team to deliver care aligned with detoxification protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
Candidates must hold an active, unencumbered LPN license in Massachusetts and possess current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certifications. While experience is preferred, the organization is open to hiring new nurses and provides necessary training.
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team and support the medical needs of adult clients in residential substance use treatment. The LPN plays a key role in client care through nursing assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the broader clinical team. We are open to hiring new nurses and happy to provide any training necessary. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial nursing assessments for new admissions Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and side effects Deliver care in alignment with detoxification protocols Complete COWS and CIWA assessments in accordance with protocols Provide education to clients regarding medications and health conditions Support medical providers during assessments and medication management appointments Maintain proper documentation and uphold strict confidentiality Ensure medical equipment is functioning properly and safely Support overall facility operations with professionalism and compassion Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned
