The Clinical Liaison will develop a hospice presence within the healthcare community by performing comprehensive nursing assessments for admission appropriateness and consulting with medical professionals regarding hospice programs and pain management. This role also involves establishing public relations programs and driving new business development initiatives.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and hold a current State Registered Nurse license, along with a valid driver's license and car insurance. Two years of experience as an RN, preferably in hospice or a clinical setting, is required.

Develop a Hospice presence in the healthcare community with hospitals and health care providers. Performs comprehensive nursing assessment and evaluation for appropriateness of hospice admission. Develop, educate and consult with medical professionals concerning hospice programs, pain management and Medicare/Medicaid/commercial reimbursements. Establish public relations programs for interpretation of the agency's services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies. Responsible for the implementation of specific projects and initiatives as directed. Responsible for new business development and assisting Community Education Representatives with new account development when needed.
