Provide routine individualized care to various populations including the elderly, minors, or persons with disabilities, which involves monitoring patient health status and providing personal care such as bathing and grooming. Responsibilities also include teaching family members care techniques, following the patient's plan of care, assisting with daily tasks like feeding and light housekeeping, and offering companionship.
Candidates must possess a current, valid State CNA certification and have successfully completed an HHA Course, along with certified CPR and a negative TB test. A minimum of one year of documented healthcare experience is required unless enrolled in an approved Mentor Program, and applicants must have reliable transportation and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
