The Wellness Nurse assists the Resident Care Director in managing, directing, and developing a comprehensive care program for all residents of the community. This role also involves assisting with training and managing CNAs and acting as a liaison with family members, agencies, physicians, and care providers.
Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) holding a valid Massachusetts license, along with a minimum of one year of experience working with elderly or Alzheimer's populations. Essential requirements include the physical ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, alongside effective communication skills and strong punctuality and reliability.
