RN First Assistant - MG Orthopedics Lewisburg - Days

This role involves performing various duties during the operative treatment of surgical patients, practicing under the direction of the surgeon and not concurrently functioning as a scrub nurse. Responsibilities include preoperative patient assessment, developing a nursing care plan, assisting with patient preparation, skillful use of surgical instruments, postoperative evaluation, and participation in discharge planning.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience in both scrub and circulating roles, along with a Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification. Successful completion of an RNFA program with a clinical component and qualification for medical staff credentialing within 120 days are also required.
